What if I want to respond to a message Call Choice sent to my email?

Call Choice works on a PC or a Mac. As soon as you register, we'll send a demo message to your email address so you can try it out.

How can this be free, and is there a premium service?

Call Choice Visual Voicemail is included free with all Hawaiian Telcom Wireless accounts. If you are with another wireless provider, you can use Call Choice Visual Voicemail free for three months.

Call Choice Advanced Calling Features is our premium service, and includes powerful capabilities to let you control your business calls and priorities, and get the best call quality available. For example, the Find Me feature can optionally ring a landline phone (like your home or office) if your cell is off, out of range, or you're on another call. Or use custom call routing by callerID so you never miss an important call, and yet aren't bothered by the rest. At this time, Call Choice Advanced Calling Feature is only available to Hawaiian Telcom Wireless subscribers.

Will my cell phone company charge me for using this service?

Most common cell phone plans won't charge you anything to use Call Choice (other than normal airtime use). However, if you're concerned, you might want to double-check on the following:
• Do you have free long distance included with your plan? (you probably do)

Can I get my old voicemail back if I don't like the service?

You can de-activate Call Choice at any time by dialing your de-activation code (this reactivates your old carrier voicemail). The de-activation code for your cell carrier is available in your account.

What will my callers hear when I use this service?

You can record your own greeting, or keep the pre-recorded message provided by Call Choice.

How will I know I've got new messages waiting for me?

Not only will you instantly see your messages in your email, Call Choice sends a text alert to your cell phone whenever you receive a new message. This expanded notification goes way beyond "1 new message"... you'll see caller information (name and caller ID), time and length of the message.

How can I check my messages?

With Call Choice, you have three options:
• By email: Simply click and listen.
• From your cell phone: Dial your cell phone number...no password needed (unless you block your caller ID)
• From any other phone: Dial your cell phone number...press "*" during the greeting, and enter your password.
